Finally, it has been a while, I can proudly announce that http://www.not-ready.co.uk has had a makeover. If you were wondering why the sudden change of colour here, it is because I have been re-branding and updating the main site with new work. I will be adding stuff to both sites on a more regular basis so keep coming back! Here’s a sneak peak, but hurry over and have a look!
EASY, It’s been a while since I put out a mix and the sunshine over the last couple of weeks has really inspired me, so here’s my summer mix! I have been playing a few of these of these tunes for a while and there some other which I am just particularly feeling right now, kick back and enjoy! The last one being a personal favourite, and classic!!!!! Tracklist is below…

This is concept for a series of book covers I am working on at the moment. The illustration of the headline will change for each cover depending on the subject matter and the logos will be replaced with relevant illustration. Still work in progress but it’s getting there…
Little bit of branding I did last year for Microsoft that was couple by an email template I produced which went out internally to members of staff globally.
Just a snippet of some type design I have been working on for a ver exciting producer called Throwing Snow. Here is a couple of tunes for you to put a sound to a name, enjoy!
EASY! Another little gem sent to me by my friend Mr Le Fou, these videos show some really nicely executed prejetion work. I posted a video in August last year (http://www.not-ready.co.uk/blog/?p=1365) on a similar tip but these videos work on a smaller, more usable scale. Check them out…
More Copenhagen madness, go on, have a look… The lamp shades are designed by the ultra talented Olafur Eliasson (check him out here: (http://www.olafureliasson.net) who most people will remember form THE WEATHER PROJECT at the Tate Modern in 2003. They were in a bar in the meat packing district called Karriere Bar, which if you are ever in Copenhagen I seriously recommend you check out. More to come soon.
P.S. a brown bar is a local bar that is open pretty much 24 hours a day where people can still smoke inside. I think if the bar is under 40 meters square the smoking ban doesn’t apply…
On my way to Copenhagen HQ in the morning I have been passing this little nugget of a sign and today I decided to whip the camera out and take a photo! Check it out, I love it because it’s the kind of type designers (including myself) have been trying to replicate in recent years, but not many have managed to do so successfully.
