EASY! Another little gem sent to me by my friend Mr Le Fou, these videos show some really nicely executed prejetion work. I posted a video in August last year (http://www.not-ready.co.uk/blog/?p=1365) on a similar tip but these videos work on a smaller, more usable scale. Check them out…

BIT OF DANISH? AIAIAI – TRACKS HEADPHONES

Posted by Leigh

Whilst in Copenhagen I was surrounded by beautiful buildings, amazng furniture and very tasty graphic design. I always try and bring something back from my travels, something typical of the country, be it traditional clothing, a poster or just a bog standard souvenir. I didn’t really have much time to seach for any of this stuff in CPH but I did manage to bring something back…

My expensive BOSE headphones broke (after some pretty rugged use travelling through Thailand and Denmark) leaving me to freak out. I decided to conduct a quick internet search only to discover that the Danes weren;t just good at furniture, buildings and design, but they are pretty good at designing Audio too . I stumbled across AIAIAI, a Danish based audio company with slick design, considered packaging and producing BOSE quality headphone for Sanyo prices. Plus, if you have an iPhone they are even better. They have a mic built in with button activation for answering and hanging up the phone. They also come cheap so your pocket doesn’t feel it.

The sound is great and they are really comfortable. You can change the studs at the side of the headphones which come in the box, there is a choice of pink, spearmint green or black. I’m keeping mine mono, get me? If you’re in the market for a new pair of headphones, then get involved with a pair of these…

When I saw this I went nuts, probably not the most practical of investments but a beautiful piece of design and a great idea none the less. These guys have a whole array of amazing musical kit including a portable synth to die for, well worth checking out. Find out more here: http://www.teenageengineering.com/.
