Finally, it has been a while, I can proudly announce that http://www.not-ready.co.uk has had a makeover. If you were wondering why the sudden change of colour here, it is because I have been re-branding and updating the main site with new work. I will be adding stuff to both sites on a more regular basis so keep coming back! Here’s a sneak peak, but hurry over and have a look!
This is concept for a series of book covers I am working on at the moment. The illustration of the headline will change for each cover depending on the subject matter and the logos will be replaced with relevant illustration. Still work in progress but it’s getting there…
Just a snippet of some type design I have been working on for a ver exciting producer called Throwing Snow. Here is a couple of tunes for you to put a sound to a name, enjoy!
More Copenhagen madness, go on, have a look… The lamp shades are designed by the ultra talented Olafur Eliasson (check him out here: (http://www.olafureliasson.net) who most people will remember form THE WEATHER PROJECT at the Tate Modern in 2003. They were in a bar in the meat packing district called Karriere Bar, which if you are ever in Copenhagen I seriously recommend you check out. More to come soon.
P.S. a brown bar is a local bar that is open pretty much 24 hours a day where people can still smoke inside. I think if the bar is under 40 meters square the smoking ban doesn’t apply…
Very nice bit of work in Basement carpark entrance design, Nike European Headquarters, Hilversum, the Netherlands. ‘MATTE’ are responsible for this as they are for some very nice, very graphical, apparel designs for Nike womans wear. Have a look and see what you think.
To set this up… NOT READY/GET SOME HQ BABY! But, rest assured, I will be back soon with lots of interesting news and updates before I disappear off to Thailand and Vietnam with The Princess of Wales. I hear she has a new mix coming too, I will keep you posted.
If there was anyone I could work for right now, this second, it would be Manchester based design supremos DEIGN BY MUSIC. I found their website and fell in love. It is a great example of how simple web design can be just as affective as and to the point as any flash based site. A good idea is a good idea and a portfolio should be about the work, not about how crazt the coder went builiding the sire that displays it. So, have a look, I think you’ll like!
I found this and am not sure whether to like it or be freaked out by it… nah I definitely LOVE IT! Enough to wanna share it with you guys anyway. Check out the rest of Saiman Chow’s work here: http://www.saimanchow.com/
