NIKE – THE HUMAN CHAIN
Posted by LeighDIY TURNTABLE KIT
Posted by LeighWhen I saw this I went nuts, probably not the most practical of investments but a beautiful piece of design and a great idea none the less. These guys have a whole array of amazing musical kit including a portable synth to die for, well worth checking out. Find out more here: http://www.teenageengineering.com/.

PUMA FOOTBALL VALENTINES DAY VIRAL
Posted by LeighIf you are one of the millions of football fans who wondered what you were going to do on Valentines Day when faced with the decision of, big game versus the missus, then Puma had decided that this was the solution. Personally, I know that P.O.W. would have cut my nuts off if this is what I did (although I wasn’t in the UK with her at all this year), none the less a great viral and great idea! Hats off to Puma, enjoy…
MEAT PACKING DISTRICT, BROWN BARS, RIVER OF ICE…
Posted by LeighMore Copenhagen madness, go on, have a look… The lamp shades are designed by the ultra talented Olafur Eliasson (check him out here: (http://www.olafureliasson.net) who most people will remember form THE WEATHER PROJECT at the Tate Modern in 2003. They were in a bar in the meat packing district called Karriere Bar, which if you are ever in Copenhagen I seriously recommend you check out. More to come soon.
P.S. a brown bar is a local bar that is open pretty much 24 hours a day where people can still smoke inside. I think if the bar is under 40 meters square the smoking ban doesn’t apply…
DIRTY TYPE…
Posted by LeighOn my way to Copenhagen HQ in the morning I have been passing this little nugget of a sign and today I decided to whip the camera out and take a photo! Check it out, I love it because it’s the kind of type designers (including myself) have been trying to replicate in recent years, but not many have managed to do so successfully.
Here it is, PEACE!
WORKING IN COPENHAGEN!
Posted by LeighYO YO YO!
It has been a long hard few months, apart form the 5 weeks in Thailand of course, and it isn’t getting any easier! I have been called in to work on a project for an anonymous beer brand (it has a green bottle, fill in the blanks) and it looks like it could be here for a while. From what I have seen of the city so far it kind of reminds me of Berlin, but old Berlin. The architecture is pretty amazing and it has an amazing atmosphere, people seem very chilled and the city feels super safe (I base that assumption on the fact that people are leaving extremely nice bicycles out on the street, over night, unlocked…?!?!?!?).
We have a multi national team pulling in resource form the US, Germany, Sweden, New Zealand and the crew form London, sort of a super agency, haha, only kidding. The project is hard work and there is lots to do, but I am up for the challenge and am enjoying every minute of it! Hopefully I will be able to post up some bits and bobs as I have already seen some amazing buildings and and typography.
See you soon.
PEACE
